if you've been living in a box for the past 40 years and dont know anything about spider-man then well-your a bit sad really.but anyway.....*deep breath*
...peter parker was an ordinary boy who everyone hated coz he was a full blown geek but then he got bitten by a radioactive spider and became SPIDER-MAAAAAAN. aaggghhh.he gained every power of a spider. he found he could make any part of his body stick to any surface-he only sticks to it if he wants to, he can repel it and once he has stuck to something-he will remain stuck there until he chooses to come off,no outside force has ever pulled spider-man off a wall. now isnt that amazing. he also shoots webs-for some unknown reason he cant produce hiis own web fluid from his body which i think is a bit stupid really. so instead his school lab for hours and finally produced an adhesive fluid from multipolymer compounds that imitated webbing. he shoots it out of wrist shooters by tapping them twice. he keeps spare cartridges in his groovy little utility belt. also Petey says he has the propertionate strength of a spider-but he's actually a lot stronger. not as strong as Thor, The Hulk or The Thing but spidey can lift ten tonnes or so. it doesnt matter that he's not the strongest because nothing can match him in agaility-he knows instinctively how to adjust his body weight and position his limbs. and then there is his spider sense that warns him of danger. its like a tingling thing in the back of his head that tells him when and where to move to avoid the danger

well here's a nice guy. venom. venom is two beings-eddie brock and an alien symbiote suit that has a mind of its own. spider-man used to wear the suit until he realised it was controlling him and he got rid of it. |

eddie brock was a media star after he had claimed to have caught a serial killer called the Sin Eater. but spidey caught the real Sin Eate-the man eddie had turned in was a compulsive confessor. so eddie lost his job and wife and hated petey and became a bit of a loser. he found the symbiote whilst praying in a church and then they united to destroy spider=man, they..became.......one aaaaaaagggggghhhh. venom went around thinking that he was the goody and spidey was evil and so he saved people and punished people that he thought were guilty. despite their differences-spider-man and venom were forced to become a team to battle the new menace in town. carnage.

when eddie brock escaped from prison with the symbiote-a small part of it was left bhind and merged with cletus to form carnage. it mixes with his bloodstream and becomes part of him. the red stuff all over him is blood and shit. he just needs to make himself bleed and it wraps itself all over him.carnage is far more powerful-he can seperate parts of his costume and create sharp objects to throw at people.

unlike venom who's just a bit of a sad old git-carnage is one nasty piece of shit. his name is cletus kasady and he was a serial killer before he was carnage. he's an orphan and sort of went crazy after being influenced by older residents of the St. Estes Home For Boys in Brokklyn. he pushed a girl in front of a bus after she laughed at him and an alchoholic foster father was found beaten to death. by the time he was twenty he was convicted of 11 murders. wooow its like collecting pokemon cards. |
